So Much To Do, So Little Time

The countdown continues… 2 days to go until immobility.
Although my goal is to get in lots of on-my-feet exercise these last few days, most of my morning was taken up with a podiatrist appointment out of town and LOOKING AT NEW LAPTOPS!
Yes, I have decided that I am going to get a different laptop. I am just not happy with my Sony Vaio. The keyboard and trackpad are just not made for me. Although I looked at Mac Books, I decided that I am going to get a hp notebook. It’s pretty similar to the Vaio, but definitely more what I am looking for.
So going back to last night, I made SUCH a delicious snack before heading to bed. I took an Oikos Greek Yogurt and topped with a big dollop of organic peanut butter. On the side, I had some organic granola with a chopped organic apricot, some of which was mixed into the greek yogurt/peanut butter. I swear, this was SOOOOO darn good!
When I woke up this morning (at 6am!), I was still in the mood for some more peanut butter. I poured a bowl of Kashi Warm Cinnamon Heart to Heart and topped with 1 tbsp of organic peanut butter and some Silk Soymilk plus Omega-3. I also had a delicious organic peach.
Right after breakfast, I had to leave for my last, pre-surgery podiatrist appointment. The doctor had a lovely present for me…
Augh! I’ll be wearing these stylish booties for the next month or so. Lovely, right?
After my appointment, my mom and I went to an Apple Store as well as Best Buy to check out the laptops.
At Best Buy, I fell in love with an hp, and the rest is history…
Ok, that’s a little dramatic – but I really did like that hp!
By the time we got back home, it was 1pm and I was hungry!
Lunch today was a delicious whole wheat wrap.
I first smothered it with some homemade guacamole – 1/2 organic avocado, 1 chopped slice of an organic tomato, and black pepper.
I then topped with organic spinach, organic romaine, and organic cucumber.
SOOOO good!!! With a side of a blueberry activia light, organic baby carrots, organic cauliflower, and a glass of organic skim milk.
After lunch, I went for a 2.5 mile walk to stretch out my legs and get in some much-wanted exercise. When I got back, I opened up a refreshing bottle of Synergy Trilogy.
Feeling nice and energized, I lay out in the sun for a while with my soon-to-be-ex laptop, catching up on the blogs.
Mid-afternoon, I put together a delicious snack to satisfy my cravings… Fage 0% Greek yogurt, Udi’s Cranberry Granola, an organic plum, and a sparkling iced green tea.
Gotta love that mixing action!
For dinner this evening, I made my delicious Zucchini Boats. Wow, I LOVE the flavor of these things! TRY THEM OUT!!!
With a sliced and toasted Joseph’s whole wheat + flax pita, extra salsa for dipping, and a glass of Silk Soymilk plus Omega-3.
After a heated laptop discussion with my mom this evening, we decided it’s best for me to get the hp – I’ll be ordering it tomorrow!!!
Now, I’m going to go for a quick bike ride before it gets too dark out!
Head’s up! Angela has a Amazing Grass giveaway going here!

Mmmm peanut butter!! Does the peanut butter get lost in the cereal? Every time I try to put it in there I cant taste it
Your snack from last night looks so darn yummy!

April-
You know, I actually purposely try to keep the peanut butter above the milk/soymilk level, and usually it doesn’t get mixed in. I also make sure to put a nice glob of it right on my spoon to get the full effect!
